I searched before I posted and could not find this, please forgive if dupe. I was rooting around the redesigned ThankYou network and saw that the products with descriptions are similar to what Amazon lists. It seems that they are rewarding Amazon.com products with a multiple of 153.86 (I suck at math). I.E. Do a search for ASUS EEEPC 1000H
Also notice the description is exactly the same along with the images. ThankYou most likely used the Amazon SDK and just added a multiple to denote the required points. $1 = 153.86 points is what I gather from a few cursory searches. Its actually cheaper to just get the Amazon giftcards from thank you (yes, they are still there but wont come up in searches) if you want products. If you choose to be rewarded in Amazon GCs, the multiple changes to $1 = 120 points if you opt for the $50 Amazon gift card or $1 = 140 points for the $25 gift card. I hate math. Hope this helps someone else, because it surely helped me. |
