I bought one of these for an HT machine 6 months ago when they made this same offer. It is a plain case and looks great next to my TV stand. Nothing fancy but perfect for a kids room oran HT machine imo.

I believe it was $20 each last time around, $18 each if you bought two+. Anyone use this case? Any comments on the PSU?

using one right now, although i'm using a different psu than the one

Are they made with thin metal or thicker metal? I notice that some newer cases are made with 0.5mm metal instead of 0.8mm. Thanks

This is pretty tempting OP... Wow this is tempting....

Too much temptation for me..
A $30 case will now have me spending who knows how much for a HTPC...

it includes a 500w power supply so its $15 for case $15 for ps pretty cheap for both with no rebate if you ask me.

I've bought two of these last time when they were ~$20. One of the unit's PSU failed after 3 months.

I tried to order one but not available for shipping and also none of the local stores have it in stock.

Thanks anyway OP

They're a thicker steel, though the grille on the front is a thin anodized aluminum sheet that probably won't take much abuse.

Ugly but functional.

actually I prefer the thinnest sheet metal on cases. Why spend so many raw materials on a computer case? The extra weight also increases shipping costs (and fuel used). Computers are obsoleted so quickly, it doesn't make sense to build cases like tanks. So what if it gets a dent here or there

Green for OP

i don't know exactly which thickness, but mine is a pretty
stout, non-flimsy case.

as per the psu, the only reason i didn't use the on-board psu,
was i already had a higher psu, and was installing a system that
would benefit all the extras.
