Shows backordered for me too. I have never even heard of this store and there are no reviews. Even so this deal is slightly better with a reputable seller. I have had goose egg issues with Meritline in my years of dealing with them.

Do these actually work as well as real staplers?

I ordered one so I'll let you know. From what I have read it works up to 5 sheets, but best for 3 or less. Some people swear by it others say it's junk. I'll post a pic of what it looks like when I recieve it.

This also looks safer for kids than a real stapler. I recall as a child putting a staple through my nail.

I had two orders with Meritline and both times the product was defective. Good thing it was super cheap so I am not too upset about it, but I'd pay extra and get the same thing from some other place.

Wow, I learned a new word.

"You only need to press stapler's top simply, the paper will be adhibited."

Not a very handy/reliable tool. The paper falls out easily. Not worth it if it's more than $0.99

I have one. It was a gift so I don't know where it was purchased. Mine has held up well, even with a lot of use. ( I'm a teacher) I have had it since September.

Are the land fills really overflowing with Staples or are the Staples bad for the paper recycle processs?

I use paper clips and they can be recycled for use over and over again.

FYI I received mine in the mail last week. It will be a stocking stuffer. I sneaked a try and it worked great with 2 pages (all I tried). It's a very ingenious fold. I can see this being benefitial for resumes as it stands out as being "different". I interview folks occasionally and if I saw one of these it would definitely catch my eye. I'll be buying 3 more for teachers!
