...at http://www.reusablebags.com:

-Starting prices are pretty low to begin with: ex 12 oz colored bottle is marked $15.95 vs $19.95 MSRP
-All are on sale for over 30% off: ex 12 oz colored bottle is on sale for $10.95
-Use coupon code f70838 (expires 04/09) for an extra 20% off
-Flat rate shipping $4.95

So my total for a 12 oz tree bark colored bottle was $15.95-$5(sale)-$2.19(coupon)+$4.95(shipping)=$13.71
You can compare this to the manufacturer's website charging $19.95+$8.61(shipping)=$28.56 and most other retailers still total over $20.

Other sizes and colors/configurations have similar discounts; Check the site for exact prices.

Thanks OP for listing this and including the coupons. This is a great deal. This beats GreenFeet by a large margin, too.
I personally recommend a larger bottle - like the 18 oz. The 40 tends to be too big. I have not tried the 27 oz. Also, you may want to get an insulated sleeve as they do not maintain their temperature since stainless steel is not a good insulator.

This is my first so I can't comment with authority, but the reasons for my purchase are:
stainless steel reusable bottle - cheaper than store-bought water in the long run (and better for the environment, doesn't smell when reused like plastic, noncarcinogenic, etc, etc)
klean kanteen - stylish and dishwasher safe (unlike siggs) so the wife will actually use it
colored - stylish so the wife will actually use it
12 oz - wife likes to carry 8 oz of store-bought water in her purse at all times (so 12 oz should be plenty)

I personally don't see the point of the insulated sleeves. Stainless steel insulated thermoses have been used for hot beverages for years and are readily and cheaply available. To me, the novelty and utility of stainless waterbottles is that they are as light, small, and convenient as possible just like the plastic store-bought water we're all so fond of.

Yes, but will they work in cold weather?

Just a word of warning: If you bought anything but the sports cap, get something to attach the lid to the bottle. Reusable water bottles are worthless if you lose the cap.

Thanks. I just knocked off a few Christmas presents. 8 bottles total. Woo hoo..

Great deal! We were just looking at these in Whole Foods the other day and they are about $20 just for the 18 ounce bottle!

Anyone know if the caps are interchangeable between different size bottles? Can I use the sports cap from the 27 ouncer on the 18 ouncer for instance?

WooHoo! 12 bottles for less than $115 shipped. All the kids have xmas presents now (plus a little toy, too, of course). thanks, OP!!

Only thing...I couldn't tell whether these are better or worse than Sigg bottles...anyone care to compare? Siggs are aluminum, but have some epoxy coating to prevent the aluminum to come in contact with the water. It almost sounds like they're better insulators, though...

I've read somewhere that Sigg keeps their bottle manufacturing process a secret - won't tell anyone what the lining is made of but they expect people to trust them that it is non-toxic. Uh, no thanks. I've had enough with the secrets in manufacturing and trust companies more who will "put it all out there" for the public to scrutinize. Just my opinion.

"Designed in California, made responsibly in China " is listed in the description of the Klean Kanteen Bottles. I'll stick with SIGG for the time being.

I have a silver 18oz and an orange 27oz. One has a poly sport top and the other has a poly loop top. They are interchangeable. They have a wide enough mouth to be able to put ice in them. If you are used to drinking from a small water bottle opening then the opening on the klean kanteen may take a little getting use it. I use my 18oz with sport top every day.

In for 3... Il sales tax almost kills the deal but the coupon code helps to offset.
I've wanted a SIGG for awhile now but, from what I've heard and read, KK's are better.

Thanks OP. I looked up reusablebags.com on rewardsdb.com and it listed Sunshine Rewards as offering 6% Cash Back on this merchant. (Not a FatWallet merchant as far as I can tell). I have no experience with Sunshine, but reading their FAQ you get $2 for signing up, and have to be a member for 45 days and earn at least $10 in Cash Back to redeem for gift certificates or $20 for paypal. There are other rules like 1 account per PC/household so it may be more trouble than its worth, but just sharing what I found.

thank you! I just got two. Great deal!!!!

Good deal if you need multiples. But if you just want one, and live near REI, their 20% off sale will probably a better deal. For example, the 12 oz (non-colored) bottle is regularly $14.95 at REI making it $11.96 + tax, no shipping.
