Why can't they have a driver for MacOSX for this? is that too much to ask for? If Microsoft can, why can't they?

I bought one for my HTPC setup. I returned my diNovo edge and replaced it with this one. I am using it from a distance of 10 feet without any problems. The media keys work without having to install the Logitech drivers.

Good product. A few cons are that the keyboard does not have an armrest. And the AA batteries go into the mouse. Also, the right click using keyboard requires a combination.

The keyboard feels light and the keys soft. Mouse feels reasonably quick and sharp.

Range I measured at least 5 meters (I stopped measuring). Sufficient for me.

Any commnets on how this compares to the diNovo Edge? With and without regards to the ~$100 price difference?

I just picked one up so when I connect my laptop to my TV I don't have to get up to control the show... good find! These are normally $24 at Target so they're already pretty cheap. How is the mouse?

Picked this up today at local Target. Opened the box, pop in the included batteries to mouse and keyboard. Plugged in the USB receiver, vista ultimate 64bit installed the drivers without me putting in the disc, which is awesome since my dvd drive broke on me last month ::cry::

Love the keyboard and mouse, works like it should.

Thanks OP

No- that "BM" in the title means you have to go into a store, not a bathroom.

The keyboard is rather similar in feel since both are low profile and very light.
This keyboard is lighter since the diNovo edge has a plexiglass cover over the plastic body.

The diNovo edge had a big issue that it would keep rebooting my PC when left on the charging dock.
The diNovo edge has the mouse built-in, which is both good and bad, since it makes for clumsy movements across the screen while doing away with another piece of hardware.

Of course, my wife was happy that I saved $150.

comparing .. to .. the ... edge. ??? are they serious ? The edge is the most comfortbale keybaord I've ever typed on and is basically a highend laptop keyboard. The EX100 keyboard is a basic logitech keybaord but wireless. They keys are higher, have more travel, have resistance as you push them, and don't click really. The edge is physically completely differently shaped including the aluminum wristrest which takes some getting used to. The Edge also has a touchpad device and weighs next to nothing.

The only thing you should compare an edge to possible is the S-series and even then it's a bit of a stretch. The S-series is really closer to the regular dinovo but with less of a laptop feel on the keys.

The one really neat thing I've seen on all logitech keyboard/mouse combos is that the devices and the receivers seem to generally be interchangable with other ones. I've had a few cordless mice that were permanently bonded to the controller or whose controller only worked for them. The Edge for isntance I believe works with any bluetooth receiver but it's receiver only works with it.

a good alternative for this if you use 'auction sites' is the original logitech mediaboard for ps3. It comes with a built in touchpad and uses a much smaller receiver . It's not as pretty but its's light and it generally does the job but can also be used form your couch without a mouse I got one 'refurbished' for 22 shipped I believe.

The newer mediaboard is bluetooth, much mroe attractive, and has PS3 buttons, but it also costs 50-80 even used.
