Kensington AC/DC 120W notebook adapter...I bought a few of these last time they went on sale (last time they were auto/air adapters too but doesn't look like this one has that..)

Nice & slim, lightweight and it includes a bunch of tips for most manufacturers.

Link

Kensington refurbs include 1 yr. warranty also.

Price is $19.99 + shipping ($6.95 to PA)

Update - 12/8 - In stock again! These have been selling out within a few days of them getting the stock in every time.

Great product, i got in on the last one with the car/air adapter.

Doesn't DC mean it comes with a car/air adapter?

It means it works with DC and AC. I called and they said it does not come with the air/car adapter.

Excellent price. What am I going to do with 4 of these things? I already had 3. According to cashbackwatch Bill give's 7% CashBack.

Of all 4 of these things I have now, by far the smallest was the cheap Chinese one I got on the Galapagos when my thinkpad adapter died. It's the same size as my regular adapter yet is a universal. It even has a USB charge port. The largest is my igo. It's a monster with a fan.

They are great to have as backups in case you have a wire chewing puppy running around the house who gets into things when you don't notice Between my girlfriend and I we're on power adapter #4

Note: according to a review on Newegg, this adapter does not work on 220V-240V, despite what the manual and Kensington website say, which means you can't use this adapter in most foreign countries.

There's way more than just one type of plug for 220V-240V!

I'm going to buy one and trust that it's rated for 220V-240V. If you frequently travel overseas, you know the difference between devices which just require a plug converter (which this hopefully is) vs. those that also need a voltage converter.

Good point. It was surprising to me, but I failed to consider that perhaps that guy was just an idiot and thought that the AC plugs were what changed the voltage.

If someone has this yet, please look at the voltage input on the adapter and see if it's rated 100V-240V.

I have a few at home from the last time they were on sale - I'll check when I get in after work.

Just a heads up - I received mine in the mail today and it DOES include the Auto/Air adapter as well.

I don't know much about power specs but on the back it says "Input ~ 120V/2.2A 240V/1.3A 60/50Hz"

Thanks!

Thanks for letting us know -- I did end up just taking a leap of faith and order one, so I'm relieved to hear it should get here as advertised.

I'm guessing that one Newegg reviewer indeed thought that because they didn't sell a Europlug cord, it didn't do 220-240V...

Just received mine and it was missing the tip I needed, so I called kensington and they're shipping one to me for free. So if yours didn't come with a compatible tip for your laptop, a quick call will get you one.
