LetsTalk.com has the new AT&T FUZE for FAR when you purchase a qualifying rate plan with data. Contract Extensions are still at the $249 price. WHY DO THEY DO THIS TO ME!!!!

Looks like a qualifying plan, is any plan at or above AT&T’s 900 any time minute level. Data options start a $30/mth.

Link to the phone. However to get the item at the $99 price it looks like you have to navigate thru the home page to the phone. If some can provide a direct link to the phone at the reduced price, please let us know.

Other threads have discussed this, but I want to mention it. The DATA plan is required to get the price but you might be able to cancel the data plan after you get your rebates w/o a cost to you. Check the service contract before jumping. I used to work for a 'Authorized Agent' that had data pricing options and we stipulated the data was required in the TOS. However we never enforced it as it was diffcult to prove.

I am in the market for a new cell. Looking at the reviews it could be sluggish among the -ve, so any personal experience to share on that?

thanks op.

Not quite sure what your question is? The FUZE is the latest touch screen Windows Mobile phone from HTC. Its the same hardware as the Diamond but has a slide out QWERTY keyboard. Its a bit of a brick, as they are very heavy. I currently own the TILT, which has similar hardware specs, but the FUZE has a higher resolution screen and does not suffer from the dreaded software accelerated video drivers the TILT does. My biggest concern on this one is the screen, as it is flush with front of the body. It seems to me the screen would be easy to scratch.

FYI - For those of you with TILT's, there are cooked ROMS available now that have the hardware accelerated drivers for the TILT, and it makes a night and day difference on the screen.

just saw this phone at the att store today.. i agree it is sluggish.. when going through the menus, its slower than my 8525 (also an HTC like the fuse and tilt). It also has a pretty bad touch screen response. I went into the store excited to finally see it. I left knowing i wouldn't soon buy it.
