If you look, the 1.5s are going for 149 which is the same $/gb as the 1TB drives. It's a push! I hear mixed reviews on using these drives in TiVos FYI |

Reviews are pretty straight forward: older revision, WD10EACS won't let TiVo soft reboot, i.e. user needs to pull the cord. Not a big deal for most since not that ofter TiVo needs to be rebooted newer revision, WD10EADS works fine, but is slightly more expensive. For those who're not using TiVo, this is a great drive that is cool, silent and has plenty of capacity. |
