This same card is the same price at Newegg with free shipping. No filler needed. Its a daily deal at Newegg so price will probably change after today.

Don't count on that. Remember the Transcend deal from Amazon? It only lasted a few days before going back up.

So close to Thanksgiving, SDHC card should be less than $2 a GB to be hot deal. Especially multiple stores have this same card at the same price and other SDHC cards already hit less than $2 a GB mark.

I don't know what you are talking about. Maybe you misunderstood my post. All I was saying is that this same card is on sale "Today Only" at Newegg for the same price with free shipping. No filler needed.

Fast enough to shoot 30 fps video at 640x480?

Yes. Class 6 is the probably the fastest you can get today. Works fine on my Canon PowerShot shooting video at that setting.

"grabbed a 4GB and an 8GB, $25.38 SHIPPED!"

Why won't you get 2 8gb cards for $5 more?

Assuming standard DV compression that is about 2.5Mb/s

Class 6 guarantees a minimum write speed of 6MB/s on a fragmented card.

I think the new DSLR cameras that shoot video at 1920x1080 pixels (30 frames per second) transfer about 6Mb/s

Class 6 is the highest minimum write speed.
The class rating has nothing to do with the max write speed or any information at all about the read speed.

LOL, the 4GB will give my wife's cam over 500 pics capacity, or an hour of video...plus I don't know if it would take the 8GB.

My D40 however...

18.99 at both Amazon and Newegg now (collusion, coincidence?)

Yes - I use a class 4 on my canon HF100 at full res (1920 x 1080).
