I'd probably try for one if I hadn't just bought one on eBay for $995 shipped (authorized dealer), minus $200 Cash Back...though this is perhaps even a better deal since you can probably quickly hawk the lens for $250-$275 on CraigsList and end up with the body only for just a little cheaper than eBay + Cash Back, and faster than 60 days...and you don't burn a Cash Back. |

They just corrected it, I was in the middle of my checkout process. Amazon moved the camera into my saved for later list, and said that it is not availabe from the seller. However, it shows as in stock on the item detail page, but at 1299. Bummer |

I did an add to cart and now it shows the d90 with the VR lens for 1076 + free shipping. Still a good deal Edit: I didn't notice I had another item in cart i had left for saved. Price is $999. |

Agreed. Just followed above link and price was still at $999.00 and went all the way to place order page and no price update. This looks to be a good deal however since the 18-105 VR lens is basically free! I am scaried to order a 1000.00 dslr when I have never owned a digitial camara and would prob take the same quality shots with a lower priced dslr. |

Do a screen capture of the Amazon offer page (you can do this if you have a proggie like Acrobat Pro or Snagit) or just print out the web page. Then if you receive the wrong item just return it to the retail store if you have one nearby. Otherwise, call Ritz for a free return and also call your credit company for a hold on the charge until you get a credit back on your card from Ritz. |

That would be false advertizing. They have to honor the purchase. We'll see. At least I will have a legitimate reason to cancel/return the purchase without any penalty or cost against me. |

I added it to my cart and it does show up at $999, and the description says D90 with 18-105mm VR lens, but the picture under the camera says Body Only - Lens Sold Separately. I would love to go for this but I see it a huge hassle trying to get them to ship out the lens later, as you are only going to get the body at first. If it were from Amazon directly I would be much more comfortable trying to get them to ship out the lens later, but I bet Ritz will say No Dice. |

Look at the link I provided above. It does not show that phrase under the picture. And nowhere throughout the checkout, do you see anywhere that it says body only. |
