I did find it at Dorcy Direct for $14.99 with free shipping. Not super hot at Amazon but still a very good deal for a one watt LED flashlight. Not much more than you would pay for the cheap Chinese multiple LED lights out there.

If you're not buying led flashlights off this list, you're probably wasting your money. LED flashlight specs are virtually all fraudulent.

I have the RC-G2 ($11) - great AA light. The RC-N3 ($17) and RC-F4 ($15)are also excellent (and a whole crapton brighter), but you need the RCR123A batteries (short fat 3v ones used in surefire lights), although the RC-N3 comes with an extender tube to allow you to use 2 AA batteries (a bit less output with AAs)
You can find them on DealExtreme.com or other sites.

Actually, this is a good 3D host which doesn't require additional heatsinking like the Maglites. The LED star is easily accessible & upgradeable with a cree or seoul. Neither DX or the CPF list you linked have a comparable light in a 3D format.

At the listed price, it's an okay price if want a cheap/easy 3D host to mod. But yes, I agree that the listed specs are BS. Even having lights well over $100 range, I still find a use for these 3D beaters. Much cheaper than Mag mods for giving away to friends & family. Thanks OP.

Great a fellow CPFer with sound advice!! Have you seen the Freedom P from Urnabeam? I know it's chinese but it packs a punch for a while with rcr123 or cr123.

Thanks loraksus, I've been looking for a small LED light for a while, and the website you linked to has been a great resource. I actually just bought an Ultrafire C3 Stainless from DX. I was going to get a Romisen, but the C3 just looked too cool to pass up.

Thanks OP. Looks pretty good for the money. My ship date is next week.

That site is great, but do be careful - there is a fair bit of chinese crap on DX
Of course, at chinese crap prices, nothing to complain about (the c3 is supposed to be a good light, so no worries there)
BTW... I love these little guys.

tvman1961 - don't think I have a CPF account, mainly lurk. I'm really impressed with the romisens. Wish the cr123s weren't such a bitch to get.

I have an ultrafire 1 AA from DX which I loved until I dropped it in the kitchen. The LED went... I thought shock wasn't supposed to be an issue with LED's? I may have to get one of those bulky rubber jobs.
