I bought a bed from them online once. Once!

For a well known etailer, they have the WORST online customer service on the planet. Never ever again.

I kid you not.

SealyThanks OP! In for a few, and CashBack too!

Edit: Delivered, very nice, sleeping great! I bought bed frames from Costco for ~$33 each, has middle support and no tools assembly, and cheaper than Sears. My stimulus check well spent!

Is this a better deal then buying from local warehouses/discounter?

TIA

no way to tell, mattress manufacturers have a giant scam going where they don't sell equivalent mattresses to multiple retailers so it makes it impossible to compare apples to apples.

Agreed... I cant find any reviews anywhere on that union LTD except on Sears.com
Anyways, Im in for the queen mattress for 319 shipped.

Thanks OP!

Bought the Union LTD a while back and threw a 2' memory foam mattress topper and we couldn't be more pleased! The finish of the mattress isn't quite that of a 1000.00 mattress, but the comfort is pretty great from our point of view. Can't beat the price.

Wow! Thanks for the review brandy!
We already have a 2" memory foam topper on our current mattress.
I was wondering about putting it up on top of a pillowtop, but I guess its a good thing!

Curious, did you get the boxspring with it as well, or just the mattress?

Have you noticed a better quality of sleep or less pain when you wake up since getting that mattress?

I purchased the Sealy Union in Queen and Twin during their last sale and could not be more pleased. Great price, free instore pickup, very nice mattresses.

How long have you owned the mattress? Have you experienced any decline in it?
I see a few reviews that talk about it sagging after a short period of time.

We've had ours for about 3 months. I think maybe some of those who experienced sagging did not have a support bar in the middle of their bed frame, which would be especially neccesary for queen and king sizes. We have had no problem with ours at all.

When you mean support bar do you mean like a metal bar?
I have one of those Ikea full size bed frames with slates and and a metal bar that goes through the middle. Would that be sufficient?

A while ago, when I managed a few furniture retail outlets, I signed on with a large mattress company. As it happens, they DO sell the same mattresses to different retailers. What they DO is give each store the same mattress with a different model name. As an example, if you saw a mattress you liked at sleepy's named the 'mirage', the same mattress will be available at Macy's, only there it will be named the 'montana', and at Sears it will be called the 'marvel', you get the idea. Some smaller shops have a comparison sheet with all the different names allocated to different stores. That's why these mattress sellers can guarantee you will not find a lower price anywhere else. Deceitful but true!

I tell you what. This bed is comfortable as can be, but I havent been able to sleep at all for the last two nights.
Last night my wife said I was tossing and turning and beating her up all night long. I dont know what the deal is, perhaps just not used to it yet...

Thanks OP! I think I will be picking up a Sealy Union Queen Size. $400 delivered.

The rebate for delivery applies only to purchases totaling $499, correct?

Also, did you notice that it says to get an extra 10% off by using your Sears card, but they are giving the extra 10% regardless of payment?
